The Azimuth Range

..designed to conform to worldwide climatic and earthquake conditions, is built up in 2.8m storey modules, offering a range of seated eye levels from 5.5m to 20.5m.

There are two footprint sizes - a two module base at 29.53m², and a three module base at 44.30m².  The latter base enables us to achieve seated eye levels up to 20.5m in height.  The tower modules are constructed with a structural steel frame, which carries a range of external composite cladding panels on a secondary framework.

The cab is supplied as a single module of 26m² floor area with 360º all round visibility is glazed with 22mm laminated glass.  It is capable of accommodating up to five controller positions working in a fully air-conditioned environment.

Whilst the towers are made up of standard components, the client can select from a wide range of options.  these include tower heights, occupancy numbers with the cab, the technical specification of the ATC equipment, external finishes and accommodation functions.

The concept is suited to both commercial and military functions and has been developed and marketed by AZIMUTH, a consortium of international companies with experience in the aviation sector.
